The painter who decided to live in the magical town of Creel, Chihuahua: Master Pedro Lobatos❗❗❗❗❗

Traveling community to Creel, the Sierra Tarahumara and the Copper Canyon 🌲⛰️🌲⛰️, we leave you this review of an artist who lives in Creel and who you have to know his work.

A drum, a dream catcher, clay or stone vessels, are the canvas on which Pedro Lobatos has captured the beauty of the Tarahumara mountain range and its people, for 29 years, although this man has a natural skill for painting, it is surprising to know who has never studied the technique of his art, his works are simply sold as a craft.

He is originally from Zacatecas where he came to the mountains, in the Bocoyna region, to settle since he likes the cold climate and that is how he decided to come to Creel.

His works are detailed and faithfully reflect the Tarahumara culture, as well as the regional landscapes, be it Arareco, Basaseachi, the mushroom valley, in short the forest, but personally he really likes painting animals such as wolves, buffaloes, horses. or crows in the style of Native American tribes.

He began painting 29 years ago and although he remembers that at first it was not easy, he learned on his own to develop the oil and acrylic technique on the most diverse surfaces that can be known.
